Printpoint Australia is Queensland’s only dedicated Waterless printer. Our staff and management take pride in producing high quality work and are passionate about the sustainability of our community’s environment.

Printpoint differentiates itself from other printers by using the Waterless Printing Technique and Soya based inks, we are also 99% Alcohol free and have a full recycling program.

As we know and understand in Australia, water and energy are precious and expensive commodities. We are conscious of the footprint we leave and believe it is our responsibility at Printpoint to lead the way in exploring ways in which to reduce consumption throughout the whole operation so we will have a healthy environment for many years to come.

PRINTPOINT WINS AUSTRALIA'S TOP PRINTING AWARD
Printpoint Australia has won the coveted Heidelberg Award for Excellence in Craft, Australia's highest printing accolade, at the 2009 National Print Awards. As Australia's largest dedicated waterless printer, we see this prestigious award as proof that printing with the highest environmental standards, can also achieve the highest standard of quality.

Only one entry, selected from the gold medal-winners in every category of the National Print Awards, is recognised with the Heidelberg Award. The award was received for our work on the Palazzo Versace Cookbook, which had won a gold medal in the Book Printing Category. The 2009 National Print Awards was a showcase of Australia's best print work, with all entries having previously won gold medals in state awards. As a company with a proud 20-year history of pursuing excellence in printing, Printpoint is honoured to receive this recognition from the industry.

The management at Printpoint would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved with the project especially the dedicated staff at Printpoint, Sexty Design for entrusting Printpoint with such a beautiful book, Rob Dunnett and his team at The Bindery for their excellent finishing, Spicers Paper for their Phoenixmotion stock, and Heidelberg Australia for making the award possible. GREEN IS GOOD
Printpoint has long been looking at more environmentally responsible work practices and marketing ourselves as an environmentally preferable printing choice to our customers. And we now have certifications to back our claims. After much planning and implementation Printpoint has achieved our Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification. Print buyers wanting to make a responsible choice with their printing and stock choice can now use the FSC logo (the mark of responsible forestry) on their printed material (conditions apply). For more information on FSC please click here .
MOHAWK HISTORY CREATED AT PRINTPOINT
For the second year running Printpoint has achieved what no other printer has done before. At the recent Mohawk awards it was announced that two of our printed pieces have made the finals. The two finalist were the Vince Frost self promotion book designed by Vince Frost and the Glen Murcutt Architect case bound book designed by Studio Naar. Congratulations to all involved.
